The Citroën Aircross offers bold SUV versatility along with a muscular design and class-leading drivetrain and has always represented value for money, but that factor has been taken up a notch with the introduction of a new cost-effective derivative and added specification.
Citroën have now added a new entry-level version powered by a 61kW Puretech engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission to the range, which retails for R269 900.
This new engine option joins the line up alongside the powerful 1.2 Gen 3 Puretech 81kW turbo engine which can be paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Citroën Aircross is available in five-seat configuration as standard or with a seven-seat option. The 5+2 seating configuration offers increased versatility, while also allowing the additional seating to be easily removed in favour of cargo space.
The additional seating capacity makes the Aircross SUV one of only a few seven-seaters available at this price point. This makes the Aircross ideal for families that require space and practicality wrapped in a stylish package.
Additional standard specification
The Citroën Aircross continues to offer a perfect blend of practicality and sophistication. The interior includes a 10-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system that offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Aircross Max models have also been updated with additional standard specification including LED projector headlamps, automatic air conditioning as well as power-folding mirrors, rear-air conditioning vents and Isofix child seat anchors. Aircross Max derivatives now feature metallic paint and a stylish dual tone roof.
The standard safety specification has also been bolstered with the fitment of six airbags, Hill Hold Control, ESP and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System on certain model grades.
