Pretoria Noord Toyota New
Pretoria Noord Toyota opened on April 1, 1983, with a
team of nine on the south side of Gerrit Maritz Street. The
staff included a Dealer Principal, Accountant, Store
Manager, driver, two cleaners, a mechanic, and a sales
consultant. The lot housed 16 new and 12 pre-owned
vehicles. After 14 months, a carport was added for new
cars, while pre-owned remained exposed. In March 1985,
construction began on the north side, later called “the
Dealership,” which was completed in February 1986.
