Land Rover Defender Fire and Ice Instant Intro

Last year we saw the limited-edition all-black SVX 60 models of the Defender, in line with Land Rover's 60th birthday. Land Rover has just released 2 new Hot and Cool limited edition models, respectively named Fire… and Ice. It is said, these Fire and Ice models were inspired by our planet's most challenging landscapes and come in either 90 station wagon or 110 station wagon.

Defender Fire models combine "scorching" Vesuvius orange metallic paint with Santorini Black roof, bonnet, centre grille and wheel arches. Defender Ice models are in Alaska White paint, with the same black contrast. Fire and Ice Defender models have unique front lights, LED rear lamps with clear lenses, while extras are diamond-turned 5-spoke alloy wheels and black side runners.

The limited edition Land Rover Defenders interiors are also splashed in the exterior colours, with either matching orange (on Fire) or white (on Ice) models getting a painted centre switch console, plus similar colour stitching on steering wheel, seats, centre cubby box and mats. The seats are sporty bucket seats in Alcantara inserts bordered by leather.

Of the 850 vehicles offered worldwide, South Africa is allocated 100 units of the limited Defenders. The short and butch 3-door Defender 90 Fire or Ice is R378 000, with the longer 5-door Defender 110 Fire or Ice models at R418 000. A range of accessories is available.
